Professor Hector is without doubt the best doctor I have visited. Highly empathetic and swift with his diagnosis and treatment of my condition, he immediately transformed my life for the better. I couldn't recommend him and his expertise highly enough for people dealing with rheumatological issues.

I absolutely highly recommend Dr Chinoy. He is very friendly, approachable and professional. He listened intently, examined thoroughly and recommended a treatment plan which was a great success. I am so grateful to him for his help. The pain I had suffered with for a couple of months has completely gone. I really cannot thank him enough. He's worth his weight in gold. Would have no hesitation of returning to him for help in the future if needed.

I saw Prof Chinoy on a Monday evening, after a thorough assessment he fully explained a plan & was very reassuring he would be able to treat the condition with a high degree of confidence. On the following Thursday I had the scan and having confirmed the condition, was treated on the same day. By the following day there was a marked improvement and almost full return to mobility. After months of not sleeping and painful movement I feel fantastic and looking forward to getting back to cycling this weekend. Maybe running next w/end? Fantastic work, fantastic guy, I would not hesitate to recommend Prof Chinoy to anybody. I very much appreciate the swift diagnosis and treatment which has immensely improved my physical & mental well-being

Dr Chinoy took the time to listen and understand everything I had to say. He conducted himself very professionally, taking the time to fully explain my diagnosis, prognosis and treatment. I believe he went above and beyond what I could expect from a specialist. I have already recommended him to all of my family members!

Professor Chinoy firmly believes in the importance of clear, open communication with patients and sufferers of musculoskeletal conditions. He trained in Rheumatology in the North West from 2001-2009. He completed an Arthritis Research UK Fellowship at The University of Manchester, and was awarded a PhD in 2007. Research interests include immunogenetic risk factors and how these correlate with novel serological biomarkers and clinical outcomes. He is co-chair of UKMYONET, a national consortium which fosters collaborative research in inflammatory myopathy.
